Charity Rose Hotvedt

Charity Rose is our friends' doughter and probably one of the cutest girls in this world. I love her to pieces and we have great times together. Since my own chances of getting a little girl are pretty small (Erik's dad had two boys anh his brother Nick has two little guys) I enjoy every moment of playing with her dolls, cooking fake mashed potatos and shopping for girl's clothing!

Hey! I'm glad I found you guys! You never know....I think the gene for girls in Ukrainian women is pretty strong! :) I will pray for a little devochka in God's timing for you guys. Love you...

Thank you, Cara! I still have a little hope, but the game is unfair, you never know what you are gonna get. I saw your posts from Prague!!! Very exciting. Ukraine must desperately miss you, have fun in Europe and rejoice in God's work. We love you!

hey, you can have ours - for free, she's such a terrorist. i'm sure you'll start wanting boys after a day spent with the emotional rollercoster she is!

But boys are usually not so cute!!! And they can't wear pink dresses. And they don't like baby dolls. How boring! Do you guys want more kids?

yes, we want more kids.... in 8 years. so that maia can change their diapers and rock them to sleep, and make them bottles, and go on walks in -20 weather. just kidding, as soon as i feel confident enough to have another high maintenance child, we'll go for it. i'm planning on a shoulder surgery next fall (that's 2,5 months in a body cast and another 3 months of recovery), so not planning on getting pregnant for another year at least
