Rummmmm cake

Here's my beautiful first ever rum cake! It was really easy to make. The funny part was when I rolled up to a liquor store at 9 am and asked an I-could-care-less-what-you-need salesman for some rum. He indifferently motioned to the wall behind me. Oh by the way, that sign "If you were born before this date in 1988 we will not sell alcohol to you" made me feel kind of old. I grabbed my rum (they only had it in 1 liter bottles, guess I'll be making rum cakes for a while) and set off with my bootie. The result exceeded even my expectations and made for one happy husband.
